Details

Sandstar Glazes have the matte texture of fine sand punctuated by rich, sparkling crystals in matching colors. Each may be combined with other colors from their own product family to create custom colors. Spot glazes may be applied over them for contrasting textures. They may be accented or tinted with EZ Strokes underglazes. In addition, French Dimension glazes can be applied over them to create raised accents. Raised effects can also be made using 3 to 4 coats of Sandstars by applying them over previously fired Cover-Coats underglazes. Both Sandstar and Simply Suedes are popular for use over sqraffito design in greenware.
