The principle behind Minnesotta Clay Company's Graffito Paper is exactly the same as carbon paper. Graffito sheets are embedded with a ceramic underglaze that will transfer to ceramic bisqueware when drawn upon using a pen or a pencil. This means that everything from an photographs to original drawings can be transferred to ceramic. However, unlike carbon paper, Graffito colours remain after firing.
Designed to be put only on bisqueware as the pressure of the pencil/pen may indent the clay if it is used on greenware or leatherhard clay.
Minnesotta Clay Company's Graffito Paper is now available in a large selection of colours including: Black, Green, Blue, Teal, Turquoise, Brown, Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, White, and Violet.
And all colours can be fired to cone 06 to cone 8 and are AP Non-Toxic.
