It is very important to ensure your plate is clean and free of any dust or finger prints prior to attaching your plate hanger.
 
When activating the adhesive with water, make sure you have a nice even frothy lather across the entire back of the disc – all the way to the edges.
 
After observing approx. 5 minutes drying time (when adhesive becomes tacky) the disc can then be applied to your plate, ensuring a firm bond all the way to the edges. You can use the reverse side of a spoon to push out any air bubbles.
 
Allow a further 24 hours drying time before checking the strength of the bond by pulling the ring parallel to the plate (the direction that the plate would hang on the wall).
 
Warning: Once attached to the plate the disc may lose adhesion in the event of the disc being exposed to moisture. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the disc remains dry.
 
If the adhesive was not fully activated, you should be able to re-activate this by applying a little more water and following the instructions outlined above.
