Earthenware bisque has been kiln fired to 1060°C or Cone 04, during the manufacturing process. 
Once glaze has been applied to an Earthenware Bisque piece it should not be fired hotter than Cone 04. Suitable glazes to be used on Earthenware Bisque are many and varied, but all have a suggested firing temperature of Cone 06 (1000°C) to Cone 04 (1060°C)
