AR556 Dark Stoneware Clay is a medium texture plastic clay. Ideal for throwing, hand building, slab, wood/pit fire, raku, large pots and sculpture.

% Shrinkage wet to dry: 4.6
% Shrinkage wet to fired: 9.2@1280°C
Fired colour (oxidation): Grey brown with salt and pepper speckle
Fired colour (reduction): Warm brown with salt and pepper speckle
