Kiln Shelves

Made from solid cordierite, a robust refractory material, kiln shelves are stable to a maximum of 1300 degrees celcius. Available in a range of sizes and shapes, to suit just about any electric pottery or glass kiln.

How to determine which kiln shelf size will best fit the kiln:

1. Measure the internal chamber of the kiln
2. Subtract 40mm from the measurement of the chamber - this allows for placing in and removing from the kiln

Eg Kiln Chamber is 570mm in diameter, the best fit for the kiln would be the 530mm diameter round kiln shelf. Although smaller shelves are also suited.
