Snow Gems is a dimensional glaze that create a white, textured surface with coloured crystals. Snow Gems is perfect for adding texture, dimension, and bursts of colour to your pieces

Colour: White with chartreuse and orange crystals

Size: 473ml

Firing Range: Cone 06 to Cone 10

• Cone 06 oxidation: Creates a white, textured surface with chartreuse and orange crystals..
• Cone 6 oxidation: minimal change.
• Cone 10 oxidation: minimal change.

General Use:

1. Mix well.
2. Apply 2 or more coats over unfired glazes, shelf cone 04 bisque (1060°C), greenware or clay.
3. Can be applied with a soft brush or sponge. For dimensional effects, apply using a Writer Tip.
4. Fire to required temp

Tips:

• Snowfall is a non moving glaze and, as such, application methods (brushing, detailer bottle/slip trailer) have an impact on the fired result.

Food Safety: Snowfall has been certified as Non-Toxic, safe for use by artists of all ages when used according to manufacturer’s directions. However, Snowfall is not recommended for dinnerware as it exhibits surface textures such as cracks and crevices. While the glazed surface may pass lead & cadmium leach tests, and therefore legally considered Food Safe, attempts to adequately clean the textured surface may cause the underlying porous ware to absorb water and fail. Recommended for ornamental use only.
