As a first time user and owner of a kiln, this kiln is simple and reliable to operate! I love it and would highly recommend. However, the first time I used the kiln it didn't heat up because I had the lid propped open as per USA instructions packaged with kiln. Here in Australia it has a safety switch and the lid has to be locked shut- it would have been nice to have been told in advance to avoid associated stress of thinking it was broken and time wasted trying to find out why it din't work! Other than that, it is awesome and Ceramicraft have been very helpful and accomodating!!!
